Overview

A personal passion of mine is to gain as much knowledge and wisdom as I can about the Christian faith so I personally can  grow in my relationship with God and hopefully with that knowledge and wisdom be Christ like in my character day in and day out as a representative of the Christian life.  In addition to my passion for personal growth  as a Christian is the passion to offer a defense of the Christian faith against those who are skeptics or are flat out opposed to the Christian faith, but to do defend my beliefs with gentleness and respect .

But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, - 1 Peter 3:15 NIV

It is very common for Christians to be labeled as narrow minded, bigoted, and unloving when expressing their beliefs. And in fact there are those who claim to be Christians who rightfully deserve the negative accusations. They may have a sincere heart but their methods though well intended are not gentle or respectful and as a result their actions and words are more harmful then loving. Others may claim to be a Christian but for what ever reasons are misguided in true Christian doctrine and present a false teaching or heresy. 

 I am hope to offer to those who are skeptical or are non-believers but are seeking the truth or clarity on something that may have heard or read on Christian beliefs and doctrines, and hopefully offer to those who are anti-Christian and are enthusiastic about it. Whatever label you choose to put on yourself is your choice. I just want an opportunity for you to understand and know why I believe in my Christian faith. I hope to this thoroughly  but in doing so don't come across as intolerant, narrow-minded, judgmental or being negative in anyway to those whose religious beliefs are not in agreement with mind. For those of you who are Christians I ask for your prayers that as I research and expand the apologetics on this website that what I say is truthful to God's Word and that I do with gentleness and respect.   

Some disclaimers are in order before we begin. I do not consider myself a theologian, Bible scholar, and am not a  pastor of any church. The material I present here is from my own personal research, reading and teachings.  

 In summary I was a person who once did not believe in the Christian faith. I use to believe since I was for the most part a good person and tried to be kind and loving to others my place in heaven was just waiting for me. That was until some personal situations in my life brought me to a point where I began to hear Christian teachings and started reading the Bible. I slowly came to know the gospel and discovered all that I thought to be true in regards to going to heaven was in fact not as true or at least had some false understandings. Finally it is my prayer that The BACPage will bring the skeptics and non-believers to a point where they as an individual can choose whether to believe and they themselves become a Born Again Christian.

The Bible - Just how did the Bible come about? Is just a collection of stories written by authors who may have been wise in there time, but their morals and beliefs are outdated, or is it Christians claim the inspired word of God?

God - Is there a God? If so why is there suffering?  There are many gods and a person only needs to choose the that best fits them! -Not Currently Active

Jesus Christ - Who was this man? Was he just a great prophet and/or teacher, or was he as Christians claim the Son of God? - Not Currently Active

Works - A lot of people think because they're a good person that the doors of heaven await them. If true how many good things do you need to do to be certain you are heaven bound?
