Javier, a man of strong Christian faith and father of two (ages 7 and 10) needs prayers for continued strength as he struggles with terminal cancer. Pray for a miraculous recovery, pray for his children to endure and to be strong. But if God has reasons we don’t understand pray for Javier’s final days to be his finest days as a servant of God.
pray for the will of God for our marriage. My husband of 21 years has filed for divorce. He is being influenced by people that are telling him lies and advice that is not from the Bible. He has a very hard heart and says divorce is inevitable. There is no adultery, so we have no grounds for a Biblical divorce. His mother is very confused about what she believes, and has never wanted her children to be married. She believes in abortion and divorce for any reason, and she has helped him file for divorce. Pray that her words would fall on deaf ears, and that my husband would see the truth in God's word. Pray that our children would be protected at this time. Please pray for a person (who by the request appears to be a single parent) who I only know from another prayer request on the Internet who has been in need of a job for five months. They are struggling financially and ask for prayers for her and her family.
Please pray for Julian and his girlfriend Sheena. Julian is in need of prayer that mistakes he made against God's desire in the way sex outside of marriage, unwise acts that have resulted in criminal charges and financial hardship. He admits and confesses his wrong doings and ask for mercy for himself and family. Julian ask that you pray for his girlfriend Sheena who is not walking with God and is falling to sin in the way of drugs and sex. Pray that she will hear God's calling for her to change her ways and repent. Their are many issues in both Julian's and Sheena's life that can only be helped by the power of prayer. His ex-girlfriend has done him so much damage by lying and decieving him and also by betraying him sexually with another man. Please pray for the West family of Broken Arrow, OK. Greg was injured in a traffic accident Aug. '97. It took him a year of therapy to be able to walk again. He has been unable to work since the accident and does not qualify for disability since his injuries were deemed "Permanently Partially Disabled." Our Church helps them when we can, it is a small congregation. The family struggles daily. Greg suffers tremendous pain but has no health insurance to see a doctor. I have applied for a job that I would really like to have. Pray that God would give me favor. The Word says promotion comes from god. Pray that God would grant this promotion.

I have been jobless for nearly two months now, and I'm desperate. I need a job in order to legally remain within this country.
I have some (tentatively) good news. It looks as though I might receive at least one job offer within a week or two. This would help me stay in the country (although it would not be an absolute guarantee).
The bad news is that I've learned of some government bureaucracy issues which could leave me unemployed for another three months or more(!), even if I receive an offer immediately. This could also jeopardize my chances of getting these job offers.
I would appreciate prayer that I'll still receive these offers, and that this delay will be shortened greatly. I'm feeling very crummy right now, and at times I wish that the Lord would just take me away.
Please pray that I would be healed of diabetes. Pray that my sugar count would come down to normal and stay at the normal range.
Please pray that L and O would draw closer. Pray that their relationship would grow. Pray that God would be in the midst of the relationship and that he would guide and direct them.

I applied for a job eight years ago that I wanted. It would have ment a great deal to me if I got that job. I prayed and prayed that I would someday get that job. At the time I had all the work experience I needed for that job but I did not have enough college education for the job. Since then I got a lot more work experience and a lot of college education. At that time I didn't even have an associate degree. Now I have three degrees,an A.S.,B.S., and a M.S. The job I wanted eight years ago is now available, the same company and position. I always wanted to work for that company because it is a leader in its industry but the most important reason is that the company is filled with Born Again Christians. I just applied for this job two days ago and I pray that I get that job. Please pray for me. This would be the job I always wanted and I worked very hard to prepare for it. Also, I need to work in a Christian environment. I have been working in an non-Christian environment too long and it wasn't a very good experience for me. I need help from Christians in my everyday life and I need to work in a Christian environment. I believe that I can serve the Lord in that job (in that position and at that company). Although, there are many Christians working for this company, because it is such a large company there are many non-Christians working there (the non-Christians greatly out- number the Christians) and this place would be an excellent place to witness. What is really good about having other Christians working with me is that they will give me the support I need to witness. Being the only Christian at my current company and the people at my company being very closed minded and anti-Christian it makes it very hard for me to witness.I need to work with Christians everyday to strengthen my relationship with Christ. I need to grow spiritually and I did not have the opportunity for many years. I have spent so many years in a non-Christian job( where I was the only Christian) and at a college were I couldn't find many Christians. In my department at my college I don't know any Christians.

Please pray that I would be humble, repent of my sins and not have a hard heart. Also, I am having difficulty at work. Please pray that God would direct me and give me wisdom. Thank you for your prayers.
My friend just started a new job with a lot of responsibilities. The company is giving him too much pressure to learn the company's procedures too quickly. Another problem is that no one in the company is showing him what to do. All the managers are expecting him to figure everything out all by himself. Another problem is that the managers give him the responsiblity of getting the work done through the employees but not the formal authority he needs to get the work done. All the current employees were not qualified for this position, so the company had to go to the outside to get a qualified person for the job (my friend). The employees all resent the fact that my friend got the job and are all unwilling to cooperate with him. The problem is that the management will not support him and this makes it very difficult for him to get the cooporation of the employees, and it makes it impossible for him to get the work done and done without any confusion or mistakes.There is too much distructive competition going on. I would appreciate it if you all pray that my friend will get the support he needs to get the job done and to eliminate the mistakes. He is so afraid that he is going to lose his job. He has never been fired before.

Hello, I'm a born again and I'm a strong strong believer. If anyone of you heard of the HeartCry 2001 I went to it. If you haven't it's like a big, big church service and a LOT of worshiping for a whole weekend! 600 people came to this....praise the Lord! WE didn't have enough chairs for everyone!! Well here is my prayer request. On Saturday there was an altar call, and i went up because it was for people to get to the cross, in other words you will be an over average christian. Well I wanted that sooo badly so i went up there with tears streaming down my face. WIth my face lookng up and my hands raised up. A teen aged girl came up to me and layed her hand upon my back and she said, "Fill her up, Jesus" the Holy Spirit came when she said that and I was shaking...now i was so full of the holy spirit it was too much for me and i was shaking and my head going down to my stomach....i couldn't stand up! She left and i was crying way way bad! Then there was an urge that I should take a few more steps up, so I did. A man came and said, "Lord, Jesus.....I pray for this child of yours. She has a loving heart for you and let her stay upon the path of yours." He prayed some more. I was crying and shaking and my teeth were chattering big time (the Holy SPirit usually gets in my mouth and my teeth starts chattering). Then he left and I knelt down then they started dancing and jumping around and praising the Lord. SO I moved to the wall and sat there and rocked back and forth crying and crying. Then when they stopped I went to the front row of chairs and sat down then a guy came up to me that I knew and he prayed the same exact thing the guy did! Am I dreaming or is God telling these people certain things? No i'm not! Well I hugged him and said thank you. I found out that I sometimes go through hard times for being teased and mimicked like Jesus got when he was crucified. But when I walk through all that I sometimes forget why God's there like "why did God make me like this" or "If He loves me, why won't He make those people stop teasing me?" Hi, my husband and me can't break free from some bondages - me chaotic lifestyle (messieness, bad concentration)wrong way of beeing connected to my husband - can't really let him go, codependent, - my husband spouts of rage that start again beeing dangerous, backlash into binge drinking. I dream about our family to participate in christian work with children and/or support countries in the so called third world. Now I have to look for a new job and a new appartement even a move to another city with two girls age 9 and almost 12. I lost my peaceful, caring, kind, compassionate, loving and lovely wife, Diane Carol, on June 18. The grief I have is almost too much, I miss her terribly and so much want to be with her. She has three children who her ex-husband has alienated from her. She wanted to share custody with her former husband because she thought it was right to share in the children’s lives. She was a fulltime stay at home mom for 13 years, but over the last 2 has only been with the children off and on; mostly off. They were her life. They occupied her every waking moment and all of her dreams. The pain of being without them just became too much. Please pray for Alix, Jill & Adam that they may find peace and healing hearts and come to love their mother as much as she loved them. Please pray for Lou, her ex-husband, that he rids himself of the vitriolic hatred he has for Diane and that he ceases to denigrate my loving Diane in death. She is the most thoughtful and peaceful person I know, not a mean bone in her body. She was fully devoted to her kids, me, our three dogs, kitten, and her flowering plants and herbs. In the last hours of her life, she came to know the Lord and fully accepted Jesus as her savior. May she be the guardian angel of her children, as she so desired to be in life and may she have eternal rest, peace, love and joy with the Lord. I love and miss her so much. my names Rick and I love Jesus with my heart....I am struggling with a broken heart that will not heal. we broke up three years ago, we were to be married but something went wrong and she broke up with me, she has called several times over the past three years and I wouldn't talk to her and finally I called her, hoping to get closure, she came over and looked terrible like a skid roe alcoholic, though she is not, she has lost 30 pounds. she says she is in love with someone else. yet my heart just went crazy with that love again and I've been pleading with god daily for relief . I cannot seem to get a clear direction from him. I cannot tell if its the devil or me or God talking as to what to do. I have a prayer request for a man who has been in prison for about 5 years. Jessie and I have been writing back and forth for two years now as of April 26, 2003. We have become very close in the course of these past two years, and Jessie talks to me about things that he doesn’t talk to anyone else about. Like how he is feeling, and what he would like to accomplish, how much he misses being able to make his own choices and the freedom of working hard to make his own life and things of that nature. We also talk on the phone from time to time, sometimes once or twice a month, and sometimes once a week. Before he was imprisoned, he worked on high-rise buildings for S.S. Steel as a welder, and construction worker. He has many skills that would aid him in finding work in Society and once he’s out he would like to get his credentials for underwater welding, because the pay is very good. Jessie is originally from Alabama, and comes from a large family of 13 brothers and sisters. He wants desperately to settle down and start a family of his own, as he loves children. During the time that I’ve been writing to him I’ve seen that Jessie is a very kind, and goodhearted man. He cares for others a great deal more then himself. He is a man of his word and incredibly trustworthy. Since his last parole hearing, he has worked very hard to abide by the rules and regulations set by the state and the Prison, and done his best to cooperate with the prison officials. He's lost more then I could possibly include in this letter while he's been incarcerated. Including his brother Danny, and his mother. Both he was extremely close to. Jessie has another parole hearing on May 5th 2003, and my prayer request is that God let the parole board see how hard that Jessie has been working, trying to do what is right. I was raised in the Evangelical faith but was always drawn to social pressures to sin. After 911 I began to give serious thought to my salvation and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I am now tormented by my decision of celibacy while in a 6 yr. relationship. He opted out, yet it was through him that I grew closer to God. I am hurt and find myself thinking whether I made the right decision; I've received little support from my "worldly" friends while on the other hand, my mother understands the importance of obedience to God. I would like prayer for clarification/understanding and peace.

I have experienced answer to pray for my daughter in that she is no longer taking off her clothes for a living and is no longer doing drugs. However, my daughter who once knew Jesus as a child, no longer knows him now. The boyfriend has never known Jesus and does not even beleive in God. The boyfriend was raised with a father who belonged to the Hell's angels and has terrible fits of rage that I fear will come out on my daughter and grandaughter. Hello, thank you for all your prayers in the last months for my marriage. Things are NOT getting better as I hoped. My wife Misty has now said that she wants to go a head and get a divorce. Because of things that have happened to Misty in her past, she is afraid of men! even I have contributed to that some. One of the biggest problems I think is that she has given up on this being able to work, where I still believe GOD can restore it. We are seeing separate counsel now instead of going to the same one, Since Misty has started seeing her counselor, she has become very distant, and does not want to speak to me except on the telephone. She also says we need to start dating other people, were not divorced yet!! So please pray with me that Misty will get the counsel she needs for her heart to heal. I still believe GOD can restore our marriage. This really needs to be corrected QUICKLY!! We have been separated physically for 6 months now and we have 2 children…. Hi everybody. Please pray that God will open doors for me and my family that no man can close. That he will make a way where their seems to be no way. For Stringth as I walk through this valley of Financial Failure, and adversity. That he will trully provide a Finicial Breakthrough.TODAY.. The last three months have been so devistating finicially and spiritually that I feel broken. I am trying to hold on to the faith that I know is inside of me, but it is getting so hard. Even to pray takes much more effort then Ever before. The last three Job oppertunities the I have deligently persued have been unsuccessful. Now we are unable to pay our lot rent and may loose our home, We are so far behind in our utilities that we may never catch up and stand to loose our vehicals. We have two big boys and thay are starting school and we were unable to buy them close let alone afford their lunches. My wife is faithfully working but makes just enough that we do not quilify for any kind of local or state benifits. If God was ever going to send a miracle now is the time. It is so easy for some well meaning friends to say "keep the Faith" or "well God most have somthing even greater for you". their not the ones taking pennys froom their kids piggy bank to buy gas to go to another interview. I know that God is an awsome God and I truly love to serve Him and have been faithfull to God , my church and family. I can honestly say that I am confused and do not understand why we are going through this. What I do Know is the we need a Finacial miracle soon.
